Delete My Account

To request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data, send an email from the address associated with your account. We process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that affiliate earnings records are retained for tax compliance purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

Account & Profile
How do I reset my password?
Go to the login page โ†’ tap "Forgot password?" โ†’ enter your email. You'll receive a reset link. If you signed up with Google or Apple, you don't have a SPOOLED password โ€” use the same sign-in method you used to register.
Can I change my username (handle)?
Yes. Go to your Profile โ†’ Edit Profile โ†’ Handle. Handles are subject to availability. Changing your handle may temporarily affect how your content appears in forums and search results while indexes update.
I signed up with Google/Apple. Can I add a password?
OAuth accounts don't use SPOOLED passwords. You'll always sign in using the same provider you registered with. If you want to switch, contact us and we'll advise on the best path for your account.
How do I add a vehicle to my Garage?
Go to your Profile tab โ†’ My Garage โ†’ tap the "+" button. Enter your vehicle's year, make, model, and trim. You can then start logging mods, adding photos, and tracking your build history.

What is a Forum Legend?
Forum Legends are experienced community members designated by SPOOLED to help moderate specific vehicle forums. They have the ability to pin posts, remove content that violates community standards, and help new members. Forum Legends are volunteer moderators, not SPOOLED employees.
Why was my post removed from a forum?
Posts may be removed by Forum Legends or SPOOLED administrators for violating our Terms of Service or community standards. If you believe a removal was in error, contact us at thespooledapp@gmail.com with details.
How do I find my vehicle's forum?
Forums are organized by make, model generation, and cross-platform scenes. From the main navigation, select Forums โ†’ browse by Make โ†’ then find your specific platform. You can also use Search to find your model's community directly.
PSI Reputation
What is PSI and how do I earn it?
PSI (Points of Social Impact) is SPOOLED's community reputation system. You earn PSI by contributing valuable content โ€” writing how-to guides, logging mods to your garage, participating in forums, receiving helpful votes, and other Platform contributions. PSI is displayed as a tier badge on your profile ranging from Stock to Legend.
Does a high PSI mean someone's advice is always correct?
No. PSI reflects community engagement and contribution history, not verified mechanical expertise. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional before performing any vehicle modification, regardless of an author's PSI tier.
Why did my PSI score change?
PSI scores update regularly based on ongoing activity and may also change if SPOOLED recalibrates the scoring system. PSI scores can go up or down based on community feedback on your content. Attempting to manipulate your PSI score through fake accounts or inauthentic activity will result in account termination.
Affiliate Links & Product Purchases
Are product links on SPOOLED affiliate links?
Some product links on SPOOLED are affiliate links, meaning SPOOLED and/or the content creator may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking. Affiliate links are disclosed in accordance with FTC guidelines. This doesn't affect the price you pay.
I bought something through a link on SPOOLED. Who do I contact for order issues?
SPOOLED is not a retailer and is not party to any purchase transaction. For order issues (shipping, returns, product quality), contact the retailer directly. SPOOLED cannot assist with purchase disputes, refunds, or order tracking.
How do I earn affiliate commissions as a creator?
SPOOLED's affiliate program allows creators to earn commissions from purchases made through product links in their content. Visit your Earnings Dashboard in account settings, or contact us at thespooledapp@gmail.com to learn more about becoming an affiliate creator.
Content & Safety
Is the how-to content on SPOOLED professionally verified?
No. How-To guides on SPOOLED are entirely user-generated. "Verified" badges reflect community engagement metrics, not professional review. Always confirm procedures with a licensed mechanic before performing vehicle work. Automotive modifications carry real risk of injury and property damage.
How do I report a post or user?
Tap the โ‹ฏ menu on any post or profile and select "Report." You can also email us at thespooledapp@gmail.com with details. We review all reports.
Is SPOOLED available on Android?
SPOOLED is currently available on iOS and via the web at spooled.com. Android support is planned for a future release.
